DA NANG

Da Nang – a port city which is located along the South Central Coast is Vietnam’s third largest city and is the main commercial, tourism and education center of Central Vietnam. Da Nang is also considered as the Vietnam’s most livable city, due to its clean, exciting environment, natural diversity, friendly people and easy accessibility, etc.

Visiting this city, you can have chances to see awesome landscapes. The beach in Da Nang was considered as one of 10 most beautiful beaches in the world in 2010. You can also enjoy exciting trip to “Ngu Hanh Son” mountain which has many imposing caves. Additionally, about 10 km from the center of Da Nang, you can visit Ba Na Hill, which you can enjoy 4 reasons in 1 day and also have good time in Fantasy Park – one of the biggest parks in South-East Asia. 30 km to the South of the city will be Hoi An ancient town, one UNESCO World Heritage and I’m sure that you will love this place. 69 km southwest of Da Nang is My Son, which is a cluster of abandoned and partially ruined Hindu temples constructed between the 4th and the 14th century AD by the kings of Champa. Also, the food in Da Nang is awesome.

The city is well known for its healthy, clean and safe environment. Unlike the crowed scene of bustling Saigon or Hanoi, Da Nang city streets are wide and very clean. At the 44th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meeting on energy in Washington DC, USA, Da Nang was recognize as one of the world’s 20 low-carbon cities.

In June 2015, Da Nang launched an education and communication program for environment and tourism. They educate local people to set a good example of tidiness as well as create a safe and tidy environment for touristic development. First they warn local residents, restaurant owners and then fine if they continue littering on the beach or street. Da Nang is striving to reach the target of becoming an environmentally-friendly city, a “Singapore of Vietnam” by 2020.
