Uncle Ho (Ho Chi Minh). He was born in 19/05/1980
and has gone in 02/09/1969. He was born in Sen village – Kim Lien commune – Nam
Dan district – Nghe An province. In that time, Vietnam was very poor and facing
war. Uncle Ho was a very strong and determined man. He showed his determination
when was very young. In 1911, he decided to travel to France to obtain
knowledge, hoping to find a way to rescue the nation from years of enslavement.
During his
journey, he had done series of jobs in to survive. Struggled to live and study
in foreign lands, he also learned many languages by himself, such as English,
French and Chinese…
After many years live and learned in many country
all over the world. He decides come back motherland help Vietnamese people
fight, be unified and independent. Uncle Ho always said: “Vietnam will be
unified and independent.” With a determined mind, he led the nation to the
final victory, overcoming all the obstacles such as foreign aggression, famine,
illiteracy on the way. His famous sayings, “We had rather died than to be
enslaved.”
That time in Vietnam, he must work in the forest
with his friends and soldiers; they work very hard for our country. After many
years led Vietnam people fight very hard with France army, North Vietnam had
independence in 1945. And then Vietnamese people keep on fight with US army in
the South Vietnam, after 30 years of fight. Vietnam had unified in 1975.
If anyone ask me “Who is the greatest person in
your country?”. At that time, not only me but all Vietnamese people also answer
immediately without hesitating “That is Uncle Ho”. He has gone down in history
as a significant pride of Vietnam country.
Uncle Ho – the greatest father of Vietnamese
people, is still in heart of Vietnamese although he goes far away forever.
